Wolf Family Vineyards offers four estate grown wines in artisanal quantities hand made by Karen Culler in the small winery and cave on the estate: Cabernet Sauvignon, Cabernet Franc, Sauvignon Blanc and Phaedrus, a blend from the youngest vines on the property. A fortuitous combination of the demanding standards of the winemaker and the family’s “no compromises” philosophy results in wine that pleases the collector’s long term palate. Total winery production averages 1000 cases per year.

2009 Estate Cabernet Sauvignon

The 2009 vintage produced spectacular wines that combine the seductive and powerful fruit characters that makes Napa Valley so famous and the fresh acidity and balanced tannins that will allow the wine to age for 10-20 years. It is truly the best of both worlds!

2010 Estate Cabernet Franc

The 2010 vintage is a contrast in style to the 2009 wine. The 2010 Cabernet Franc has a beautiful length and a viscous and elegant finish of tannins. It is most reminiscent of the 2005 vintage which produced wines of freshness, depth and elegance. The aromas are herbal, blackberry and licorice. The palate has the distinct oily mid texture characteristic of great Cab Franc. This wine exudes softness on the mid palate and velvety tannins on the finish which is a luxury only found in Cabernet Franc. 96% Cabernet Franc, 5% Cabernet Sauvignon, 102 cases produced.

2010 Phaedrus Cabernet Sauvignon, Napa Valley

The 2010 Phaedrus Cabernet Sauvignon enjoys all the benefits of the blend. Malbec offers spice and black cherry aromatics. Petite Verdot plumps the wine with a lush, juicy mid palate. Cabernet Franc is loaded with floral and fruit aromatics, along with a luscious mouthfeel. All of which are supported by the richly textured foundation of Cabernet Sauvignon. The 2010 will be slow to age and should offer 10 years or more of enjoyment.

2012 Estate Sauvignon Blanc, Tres Hermanos

The Wolf Family Vineyards Sauvignon Blanc is picked at a low sugar to maintain freshness and the distinct Sauvignon Blanc varietal aromatics... pear, herbal, mineral and grapefruit aromas. A nice natural acidity livens the palate, and along with the lower alcohol, gives a fresh and unctuous quality to the wine. 72% Sauvignon Blanc; 28% Sauvignon Musque, 117 cases produced.

Olive Oil

The estate is host to Spanish and Italian varieties. The trees which planted in 2000 are located on the western slope of the Mayacamas Range where they enjoy great morning and mid-day sun exposure, excellent drainage and rocky alluvial soil. The beautiful mature trees which are estimated to be over 30 years old, border both the southern and northern edges of the property.

Inglewood Estate Extra Virgin Olive Oil

The hilly upper benchland on the estate is home to over 140 Manzanillo trees. Generally picked Mid-November, we harvest by hand a small yield and cold press. The oil is richly green in color which will become more golden with time. Fresh grass on the nose, the oil is zesty with a fabulous kick on the back of the palate. End of Literature
